It is NOT for everyone and anyone wishing to use it as a Double Entry Accounting solution with the expectation of being able to create a valid Balance Sheet would benefit dramatically from a healthier understanding of data flow, goals and objectives prior to mixing that with Intuit's challenging infrastructure.

NOTE: We feel Quickbooks Online and all SaaS offerings should be boycotted permanently due to he problems with Small Business data mining. Please don't confuse that matter with this promotional idea.

ZAP Accounting Software gives all potential Quickbooks Users a far faster way to learn about basic bookkeeping principles (hours vs days) and it would give users a baseline for comparison if they venture on and try Quickbooks after their introductory course.

• With our Demo Data and anonymous access to our File Template that would not need the scripting module connected for the course, a user can go from novice to understanding basic data flow from banks to journals to general ledger to income statement & balance sheet in a matter of AN HOUR OR LESS. A course that was 2 to 4 hours long would provide an amazing introduction to the world of bookkeeping from a data flow perspective

Develop programs and get them into Middle Schools and High Schools. Bookkeeping and Accounting is basic addition and subtraction with some long addition. Without a focus on debits and credits formally, it belongs before algebra and it can be digested that way now too.

Incarcerated Population Education
A captive audience that is eager to plan for a new life with new skills may make for a great audience in deed. This may be as much of a "teach the teacher" program as an "end user" program, if you can read between the lines. Those getting out of incarceration will need work and if they come out with skillset in a new software program, they may walk into bookkeeping and consulting work quite quickly. Those who may never get out may enjoy the opportunity to become a master with a fascinating tool that offers a lot of room for creativity for programming and technology exploration.
